Our Connections
As an independent church we value our connections with other Christians and churches in Greater Manchester, the North West, across the country and abroad.
We are involved in the following national networks:
Grace Baptist Assembly
This is an annual three-day meeting providing fellowship mainly among the eldership of Baptist churches committed to the doctrines of grace – to share news, to discuss relevant issues and to receive preaching from God’s Word. The basis of faith is the Second London’ Confession of Faith of 1689 and ‘We Believe’, the Strict Baptist Affirmation of Faith of 1966 (second edition 1973).
Affinity
A network of over 1,200 evangelical churches and organisations declaring and demonstrating the unity of Christ’s Church for the advancement of Christ’s Kingdom.
North West Partnership
We are also involved in the North West Partnership (NWP), a regional partnership which exists in order to expand gospel ministry and to encourage Bible-believing evangelicals to contend for Biblical reformed Christianity within the different denominations and associations. The NWP does this by church planting, training, and fostering an effective network of support.
Grace Baptist Missions
This is a resource available to churches in the Grace Baptist Assembly for church planting and missionary endeavour across the world. The churches join together in gospel partnership with likeminded churches worldwide, fulfilling the Great Commission.
The church has longstanding links with Word Baptist Church Kumasi, Ghana and has recently developed a link with a church plant work in Legionowo, Poland.
